AsuPlanner (the “App”) is a planner app for managing schedules, TODOs, and personal themes using the device’s standard calendar and local app storage. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled in the App.
1. Information Handled By The App
The App does not require account registration or login. The App does not collect its own user account information. The App does not collect information that identifies users for advertising, tracking, or analytics purposes.
Depending on user actions, the App handles calendar events, user-created calendar changes, TODOs, child TODOs, folders, priorities, due dates, recurrence settings, completion status, personal themes, and app settings on the device.
2. Purpose Of Use
The App uses this information to display calendar events, create, edit, and delete events based on user actions, display and store TODOs, folders, themes, and settings, remember display choices, and provide optional Timelook integration when the user chooses to use it.
3. External Communication And Third-Party Services
The App does not send users’ calendar events, TODOs, themes, or notes to servers managed by the developer. The App does not include third-party SDKs or services for advertising, tracking, or analytics.
If Google Calendar, iCloud Calendar, Outlook Calendar, or another calendar provider is synced with the device’s standard calendar, event data may be synced by the operating system, device, or calendar provider selected by the user. In that case, the privacy policy of the relevant operating system or calendar provider applies.
4. Timelook Integration
The App may provide optional integration with Timelook. When the user explicitly chooses to use this feature, the App may pass event start time, end time, memo, and related information to Timelook to make manual time logging easier.
5. Device Permissions
The App may use calendar read access to display events stored in the device’s standard calendar and calendar write access to create, edit, and delete events based on user actions.
6. Data Storage And Deletion
Calendar events are stored in the device’s standard calendar store or in the calendar provider selected by the user. AsuPlanner-specific data such as TODOs, themes, and display settings is mainly stored locally on the device. Deleting the App deletes local app data, but events saved in the standard calendar may remain in the operating system or calendar provider.
7. Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
8. Security
The App strives to handle user information appropriately on the device. However, information may be exposed through device loss, operating system or other app settings, user sharing actions, or calendar provider sync settings.
9. Changes To This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as necessary. Updated content becomes effective when posted on the app distribution page or another location designated by the developer.
