Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) set forth the conditions of use for Timelook (the “App”) provided by the development team “yalkey” (the “Developer”). Please review these Terms before using the App.
1. Applicability
These Terms apply between the Developer and all users of the App (each a “User”). By installing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Description of the App
The App is a tool for recording and visualizing daily activities to help users reflect on how they spend their time. Key features include activity logging, category management, diary entries, goal setting, countdown events, calendar integration, cloud backup, and home screen widgets.
3. Fees
The App is provided free of charge. If paid features are introduced in the future, Users will be notified in advance within the App.
4. User Responsibilities
Users are responsible for the following:
- Providing the device, operating system, and internet connection required to use the App
- Managing credentials for external services (Google account, WebDAV server, S3-compatible storage, etc.)
- The content of data entered and recorded in the App
- Regularly backing up data
5. Prohibited Activities
Users must not engage in the following activities:
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the App
- Modifying, redistributing, or selling the App
- Using the App for illegal purposes
- Infringing on the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of the Developer or third parties
- Placing excessive load on the App’s servers or networks
6. Data Handling
For details on how data is handled in the App, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
Data recorded in the App is stored locally on the User’s device by default. If data is lost due to device loss, malfunction, or uninstallation of the App, the Developer cannot recover the data. We recommend regularly backing up important data using the backup features.
7. Integration with External Services
The App provides integration features with external services such as Google Drive, WebDAV, and S3-compatible storage. Use of these external services is subject to their respective terms of service. The Developer is not responsible if integration features become unavailable due to outages, specification changes, or discontinuation of external services.
8. Intellectual Property
Copyright, trademark rights, and other intellectual property rights related to the App belong to the Developer or their rightful owners. The license to use the App under these Terms does not constitute a transfer of these rights.
9. Disclaimer
The App is provided “AS IS.” The Developer makes no warranties regarding the following:
- That the App will operate without interruption or errors
- That the App will function correctly on all devices and OS environments
- The accuracy or reliability of results obtained from using the App
- That bugs or defects in the App will be fixed
The Developer shall not be liable for any damages (including data loss or loss of profits) arising from the use or inability to use the App, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence by the Developer.
10. Changes to or Termination of the App
The Developer may change, add, remove features of, or terminate the App without prior notice to Users. The Developer is not liable for any damages resulting from such actions.
11. Changes to These Terms
The Developer may modify these Terms as needed. Updated Terms take effect upon publication on this page. If significant changes are made, Users may be notified within the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the Developer’s location.
