This Privacy Policy describes how Timelook (the “App”) handles user information. Please review this policy before using the App.
1. Developer Information
The App is provided by the development team “yalkey” (the “Developer”).
2. Information We Collect
The App does not collect any personal information.
All data recorded in the App (activity logs, categories, diary entries, goals, countdown events, notification settings, ideal day plans, etc.) is stored exclusively in a local database (SQLite) on your device. This data is never transmitted to the Developer’s servers.
3. Advertising
The App does not display any advertisements. No data is sent to advertising networks.
4. Integration with External Services
The App provides optional integration with the following external services. If you do not use these features, no data is sent to any external service.
4-1. External Account Authentication
Some features, such as calendar integration and cloud backup, require signing in with an external service account. Authentication is handled by the respective service’s authentication mechanism. The Developer never obtains or stores your account password.
4-2. Calendar Integration
The App can retrieve events from Google Calendar in read-only mode to compare with your actual activity logs. The App requests only the calendar.readonly scope (read-only access) and does not modify, add, or delete any calendar events. Calendar data is used only on your device and is never transmitted to the Developer’s servers. This feature is optional and only operates when you explicitly configure the integration.
4-3. Google Drive Backup
The App provides a feature to back up your data to Google Drive. The App requests only the drive.appdata scope (access to an app-specific hidden folder) when signing in to your Google account. This scope does not allow access to any other files in your Google Drive. Backup data is stored in the app-specific folder (appDataFolder), and the Developer cannot access your backup data. If automatic backup is enabled, a backup is performed once per day when the App is launched.
4-4. WebDAV Backup
The App provides a feature to back up data to a WebDAV server specified by you. WebDAV connection information (URL, credentials) is stored only on your device and is never sent to the Developer.
4-5. S3-Compatible Storage Sync
The App provides a feature to synchronize data across multiple devices using S3-compatible cloud storage. Connection information is stored only on your device. Synchronized data is encrypted.
5. Locally Stored Data
The App stores the following data locally on your device:
- Activity logs (start time, end time, category, notes)
- Category information (name, color, icon, reminder settings)
- Diary entries
- Goal accumulation times
- Countdown events
- Ideal day plans
- Notification settings
- App settings (theme color, font, language, display preferences, etc.)
All of this data is stored in local storage on your device and is never transmitted externally unless you explicitly use the backup or sync features.
6. CSV Import & Export
The App provides features to export and import activity log data in CSV format. Exported files are saved to a location you choose on your device. This data is never sent to an external server.
7. Notifications
The App uses local notifications for the following purposes:
- Reminders to start recording (idle prevention notifications)
- Reminders to stop recording (to prevent forgotten timers)
- Periodic notifications configured by the user
All notifications are local notifications processed on your device and do not use push notification services or external servers.
8. Home Screen Widgets
The App provides home screen widgets for your smartphone. Data displayed in widgets is retrieved from the local database on your device and is never transmitted externally.
9. Analytics & Tracking
The App does not use any analytics tools, tracking tools, or crash reporting tools. No user behavior data or app usage statistics are collected or analyzed.
10. Disclosure to Third Parties
The App does not provide, sell, or share user information with any third party.
11. Security
The App implements the following measures to protect data on your device:
- Encryption of backup data
- Encryption of synchronized data
- Cloud storage backups are stored in an app-specific folder that is inaccessible to other apps
12. Data Deletion
You can delete your data from the App using the following methods:
- Delete individual data (activity logs, categories, diary entries, etc.) from the settings screen within the App
- Uninstall the App to delete all data stored on your device
- Delete Google Drive backup data from the backup management screen within the App, or revoke access from Google Account app permissions
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as needed. When changes are made, the last updated date on this page will be revised and the new Privacy Policy will be published. If significant changes occur, you may be notified within the App.
