What is Timelook?
Timelook is an app that records your activities (such as studying, reading, sleeping, etc.) and visualizes how you use your time!
By recording your time, you can see “how much time is wasted” and “whether you are using your time meaningfully”!

How to Record Time
There are two methods for recording activities:
- Automatic Recording: Use a stopwatch to record time. When you press the start button, the start and end times are recorded automatically. This is ideal for when you are about to begin an activity.
- Manual Input: Enter the start and end times manually to record them.
Automatic Recording Method
Tap the recording menu at the bottom left to display the recording screen.
Select the category you want to record. Choose from the icon list the one you want to record. (If the category you want is not available, you can add it using the “+” button.)
Tap the “Start Recording” button.
Recording will begin automatically. The elapsed time will be reflected in the time table at the bottom of the screen.
To zoom in or out on the time table, double-tap on the time table. The scale will switch between three levels.
To end the recording, tap the “Stop Recording (Wasting Time)” button. Pressing the stop button will automatically record the work time. (Note: It may take about a minute for the record to be reflected.)
If you want to finish the current task and move to another task, tap the “Switch Task” button.
Icons will be displayed as shown in the image below. Next, select the task you want to measure.
Press the “Start Recording” button to begin recording automatically.
Manual Input
Tap the recording menu at the bottom left to display the recording screen (shown below).
Select the category you want to record. Choose from the icon list the one you want to record. (If the category you want is not available, you can add it using the “+” button.)
Click the “Manual Input” button.
The “Edit Activity Record” screen will be displayed.
Set the start and end dates and times. (Tap the date and time to select them as shown in the image below.)
Enter any notes if necessary.
Once all inputs are complete, tap the “Save” button. The record will be reflected within a minute.
How to View, Edit, and Delete Recorded Data
Activity records can be viewed from the “Activity Records” menu at the bottom right of the screen.
Records from the past 90 days are displayed in chronological order. To view older records, change the date.
Tapping on a record in the list will show details.
From the detail screen’s top right icon, you can edit (pen icon), delete (trash can icon), or share (share icon) the activity record.
How to Check Graphs and Time Tables
To view graphs and time tables, select “Statistics & Graphs” from the menu at the bottom of the screen.
The summary screen will display graphs and time tables based on recent activity records.
Tapping on each graph or time table will show more details.
Pie Chart (Percentage)
Tap the pie chart on the summary screen to view its details. You can see the breakdown of activities. Tap “Wasted Time” below the graph to toggle the display of wasted (unrecorded) time.
Bar Graph
Tap the bar graph on the summary screen to view its details. Tap “Wasted Time” below the graph to toggle the display of wasted (unrecorded) time.
Time Table
Tap the time table on the summary screen to view its details. You can check activity records in chronological order. The time table at the top of the screen can be scrolled horizontally. To change the scale, double-tap on the time table.
How to Add Categories
To add a category, tap the “+” icon at the top right of the recording screen.
The category creation screen will be displayed.
Set the category name, color, and icon, and press the save button.
- Category Name: Enter up to 20 characters.
- Color: Tap the colors displayed in the color palette to select one. The color palette can be scrolled horizontally.
- Icon: Tap the “▼” to view the list of available icons. Choose your preferred icon.
